WK League

WK리그 로고

The WK League is Korea's official women's football league, launched in 2009, co-hosted by the Korea Women's Football Federation and the Korea Football Association.

In the regular season, each club plays 28 matches to determine the standings. The 2nd and 3rd-place teams meet in a single-leg playoff to decide who advances to the Championship Final, where the playoff winner faces the regular season champion in a home-and-away series. Players are recruited through a draft system.

Starting from the 2025 season, with the official launch of the AFC Women's Champions League, the WK League champion earns a berth in the Asian club competition.

The inaugural AFC entry is Incheon Hyundai Steel, the 2023 season champion.
